Global Water Temps Not Rising but Rising Water Temps Cause Ice to Melt
I find this interesting that these two articles were published on almost the same day.
NPR published
The Mystery of Global Warming's Missing Heat with results from a 5 year study of global water temperatures stating that the study "suggests that the oceans have not warmed up at all over the past four or five years."
The Washington Post release an article entitled,
Perennial Arctic Ice Cover Diminishing, Officials Say that stated that the sharp decline in "perennial" ice was due to global warming: "Officials said the loss of long-lasting ice was less the result of warming of the atmosphere than of a long-term rise in ocean temperatures.."
I find it interesting that "all of the science is settled on global warming" but one scientist says that global waters have
not warmed over the past 5 years and another one states that the melting of arctic ice is caused by rising global water temperatures.
I'm all for conserving energy and finding alternative fuels but I'm sick of the global warming / climate change "religion" thinking it know exactly what is going on.
Scientist can't even tell if it's going to rain tomorrow.
